Magic Journey to Africa’s book was presented last week in a press conference carried out by Jordi Llompart, and the editors Blanca Rosa Roca and Jordi Rourera. They all highlighted that, although being a book for young readers, it will fascinate adults due to its powerful story “it will make us feel our heart growing”, a contemporary Little Prince according to the author and editors.
Llompart explained that the novel is a journey back to the essence and meaning of life, a rediscovery of the basic values many times forgotten by the imperative materialism of our society. Magic Journey to Africa was written in Namibia immediately after the shooting, Llompart declared that the book has its own strong entity and “let me explain everything I wanted to say, in a way it is more inspiring”. Jordi Rourera, from Ara Llibres, described the novel as a non-moral fable about the meaning of life seen from a 10 years old girl’s eyes.
The presentation and the book signing will be held next Thursday December the 10th in Barcelona (Ámbito Cultural El Corte Inglés) at 19,30. The event will be conducted by the journalist Albert Om and the author Jordi Llompart.
