Due to the extraordinary and outstanding success of the 3D cinema, with large productions such as Cameron’s, and the reduced number of 3D screens amongst the Spanish theaters, Magic Journey to Africa will change its release date, initially settled for February the 12th, to a new date yet to be defined.
Magic Journey to Africa, written and directed by Jordi Llompart, is the first life action film shot entirely in stereoscopic 3D produced in Spain and Europe. After more than four years of production the film is now ready to be released in all Digital 3D, IMAX® and conventional theaters.
According to the production firm Orbita Max and the distributors Filmax, postponing the film release will be highly advantageous as many of the Spanish Exhibitors are expected to increase the number of digital 3D screens.
