Magic Journey to Africa to be released next May the 7th
Magic Journey to Africa, as well as other 3D productions, has been forced to delay its release date due to the great success of the 3D cinema and the reduced number of 3D screens amongst the Spanish theaters.
Magic Journey to Africa, written and directed by Jordi Llompart, is the first European life action film shot entirely in stereoscopic 3D, and after four years of production, the film is ready for its release in 3D Digital, IMAX and conventional theaters.
Magic Journey to Africa is one of the most ambitious and innovative productions from the last years, a magic tale for all audiences in 3D. Starring children and animals, the film combines real images, shot in the most astonishing African deserts and savannas, with computer generated images, creating a unique atmosphere that hypnotizes the audience.
The film has been shot using the latest technology in stereoscopic 3D capturing and post producing, and has been already honored with the FICOD-2008 award to innovation for the development of new techniques of digital content broadcasting. Magic Journey to Africa is an Orbita Max production in co-production with Invercartera, Apuntolapospo, Inverpyme, Més Films and Televisó de Catalunya.
